Great talk - would like the tables to take up the who slide so the font is bigger and legible
another one in my field (generally speaking) and I thought he gave a great review.
good method to organize disorders
none
very choppy presentation, very exam oriented though not nice overview which would be more appreciated
Appreciated high yield points
Excellent presentation!
Is there any better way to present this subject? Understandably it is a very dry subject, and one that many heme/onc docs struggle with (we don't do this often). I found the extensive tables and lists very difficult to categorize in my head, and difficult to memorize.
Excellent
Excellent!
I liked that cases were included.
charts are very helpful to organize data
Good overview but felt like he glossed over many diagnoses, felt like my retention after this lecture was lower than others
First half effective in explaining big picture. Second have poor in running through with random associations with diseases with several different problems: 1) throughout seeming lack of focus for what is likely to be tested vs very obscure, 2) often providing inadequate pathophysiology to understand the disease or help identify and organize how it fits in with function presented in first half; 3) except for some tables (and even in them) didn't present in such a way to understand either symptoms, labs, or dx that will help compare/differentiate similarly presenting conditions.
Too much focus on biology and less importance to board content
Very dry and often difficult to follow, however not the most engaging subject matter.
Greatly appreciate the tables, makes quick reviews easy!
Covered all the important info and highlighted testable points.
Good job! I wish you would've included pics of the things you told us to find on our own towards the end. Otherwise I appreciated the board-focused nature and concise presentation.
Lots of scope of improvement. Lecture content was not board specific. The first few slides seemed long and not content specific and had too much information. To the point that I feel that I lost interest and couldn't pay attention to the entire lecture. Also felt that more disease specific information was missed. Like CGD is so important and that slide seemed very rushed.
Very well organized; high yield aspects stressed; effectively explained concepts; easy to follow diagrams;
Pictures were a bit small , focus more on diseases and diagnoses/treatments and less on biochemistry.
I enjoyed this lecture - I thought that it was very well put together.
emphasized a lot of possible test questions
Excellent lecture that covered all the topics needed.
