excellent job! spent a lot of time explaining immunology 101, but probably needed to explain immunodeficiency
Sorry she wasn't there in person! But once audio issues resolved, I enjoyed her very well-put together lecture.
none
love her session
Went a little fast over difficult topics.
Her treatment for F&N was different than what was presented in the first lecture.
Content of the lecture very good and having also heard this speaker 2 years ago-- definitely want her back!!
Excellent lecture, very concise and full of important information.
Excellent
Excellent overview of tricky and detailed topic area!
Her talk was excellent as usual-- excellent and easily comprehendible talk of an often very confusing subject for us heme/onc docs!
The content was also all over the place and not pointed which is what is needed for a crash course learning for this exam .
Awesome and well presented. Very helpful to understand the basics of immunology. She even did great form afar
Dr Pai has always done a great job this lecture
great review of a difficult concept. Even with technical difficulties lectures were clear.
I know that there was an emergency but it was difficult to hear her. Luckily her lecture slides were great and eventually it got better.
even having to call in to give the lecture, it was great
while this may not be a large proportion of board content, it was well presented and educational
Clear and Concise!
One of the best lectures and was given through a remote connection!
The lecture was excellent.
Very comprehensive and helpful review
Good summary.
First part fine. Slides became crammed and in the infection section and guidance on prophylaxis (when to use, how long for) was not especially clear [while common practice for those who see onc patients daily, those of us who don't might not remember guidelines on this). In Immunodeficiency section, began in what seemed an organized way with chart and clarity on deficiency vs defect, but then didn't organize the rest of the lecture following those principles. Appreciated the MOA slides when presented, and would have appreciated that for all diseases to understand why defects present the way they do. Also non-MOA slides busy and thus not as effective in communicating key points/differences between diseases. General comment for overall course structure: Material in lecture was a mix of General Onc, BMT, and the expected Lymphocyte Pathophys and Defects/Immunodeficiencies. Fine to group but also touched on in other lectures, so something for consideration when organizing lectures for future courses.
Presented the topic very well. Immunology can be a difficult topic to understand especially if not seeing a lot of patients with immunodeficiencies but she broke down the topic well and made it easy to understand. I liked the diagrams. Also like that she only focused on the salient features regarding each disease.
Difficult with remote lecture, however this was unavoidable. I have always been impressed by Dr. Pai's lectures.
Concise review with important information covered well within the allotted time
First half of the presentation did not feel high yield for boards.
Great talk - thank you! Did a great job including a lot of important information on the slides without reading the slides to us - that was much appreciated.
Excellent, clear presentation with easy to understand handout Dr. Pai made this topic very accessible. I will likely refer to this handout regularly in the future.
There were some initial technical difficulties but after that, it was great!
This was one of the best presentations of the review course even though she wasn't even physically present. The material was well presented and organized, easy to follow, and focused on materials that will actually need to be known for the exam.
All in all it was an excellent lecture
Despite it not being the major part of the exam, I wish all lectures were given in such a logical fashion. One of the most excellent lectures of the course, even on the phone!
Dr. Pai is great.
Lecture was good.
Overall good, hard to tell what is high yield for the exam at some points
Great lecture!
very thoughtful and straightforward way of presenting a complicated topic.
This was probably the strongest lecture of the day. Slides were well organized and lecturer was clearly expert in the topic.
An important lecture, and complemented the transplant lecture well.
I thought that Dr. Pai's lecture was wonderful.
Great organization of material presentation. The material was explained very clearly and easy to understand.
Difficult to hear since not present.
Good level of detail presented here.
This was a nice lecture on a difficult subject. Also, the use of a pointer would be immensely helpful to see which part of a figure you are referring to.
